Greetings from Thailand

Wow what a great country this is. I've had a great day out at the Ancient City in Bangkok and made some new friends. They were awfully friendly, but I think one of them has been eating too many cakes.

Travels with Jaffacake

Well, I've been a lazy sockmonster the past week or so.  I went on my first foreign holiday this year to Tenerife with Jaffacake (Tracey)

 

Admittedly, this was a quiet week just spent by the pool reading her Kindle, and enjoying the sun.  As you can see, she made sure I was protected with Factor 30 - don't want any delicate bits being burnt!

 

Tracey made sure I behaved and she made sure I didn't take advantage of the all inclusive drinks like she did!

 

Now tomorrow I will be sent to HaloHoney and her family - I can't wait!!

 

 

My New Year - part one

Well, I had a busy New Year's Eve with James and Liz in South London. Liz had a new camera and was practicing by taking lots of photos of me. Not all of them were very good, as she didn't have time to read the instruction manual before we went out.

The evening started with a music quiz. We didn't do very well; all of the questions were about songs that were released before I was born.

James and I spent some time playing together:

I got a bit tired out and had a doze:

But I was awake enough to sing 'Auld Lang Syne' at midnight:

Happy New Year

I arrived in London yesterday, after a very undignified encounter with a letterbox, which left me a bit flat and deflated. Ouch.

I'm making lots of new friends and am looking forward to going out this evening to celebrate New Year. I've been getting my friends to take photos of me, which I'll share with you soon.

My New Year's Resolution is to travel more of the UK and make more friends.

Christmas Work and Cheer!

A belated Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope you all had a lovely time.

I started the day by doing another shift in the hotel. Polishing glasses is hard when you can't get properly close to them!

Then I had to help check the intermediate courses in the kitchen. Thankfully all went well and everyone enjoyed their Christmas Dinner.

Cosmopolitan training. Mmm. The tasting was the best bit!

Then finally got to serve my first customer.

At long last a break! My current boss is a bit of a slave driver.

After a very long day it was time to come home and enjoy Christmas with the family.

Stockings and presents first.

My first ever cracker joke. It wasn't funny.

Then dinner. The trifle was particularly good!

I managed to squeeze in a cupcake.

Then had a lovely evening round the table drinking whisky. Think I may have overdone it! There's always someone to take a photo when you least want them to.

Today was a quiet day recovering from a very sore head! See you soon!

Winter Wonderland!

Hello All! I've been having a great time up here in Scotland so far. We went to Edinburgh last night to play in the Winter Gardens. They were awesome. I was in awe of the size of the wurst; they made my own 'problem' seem quite insignificant!

I went on loads of rides.

I didn't like the big wheel much. It seems I'm a bit scared of heights but hopefully I'll get over it soon.

I've been busy working as well. It's hard going at this time of year but hopefully tomorrow I'll have pictures to show you of my bar skills.
